Comaskey · Orihuela Costa
Punta Prima sits right on the water's edge where Torrevieja meets Orihuela Costa — a compact, convivial seafront community where the promenade draws people out morning and evening and the Mediterranean is never more than a short walk away. It has the feel of somewhere that has been properly discovered by the international community but has managed, for all that, to stay genuinely relaxed and unhurried.
The crowd here is predominantly British, Irish and Northern European — a genuine mix of retirees who made the move permanently, couples who escape the northern winters for months at a time, and families who return every summer to the same spot. The daily rhythm is refreshingly simple: morning coffee by the sea, an afternoon on the beach, an evening stroll along the promenade. For many buyers, that simplicity is precisely the point, and Punta Prima delivers it without any fuss.
Punta Prima's own beach sits at the heart of the community, and the wider Orihuela Costa coastline — with a string of Blue Flag beaches — stretches out in both directions. Golfers are well served, with several well-established courses in the surrounding area catering to all handicaps. The region is served by two international airports, Alicante–Elche to the north and Murcia Corvera to the south, keeping flight connections to the UK and Northern Europe plentiful year-round.
The great majority of homes in Punta Prima are apartments — many with sea or pool views — alongside a smaller number of townhouses. The stock ranges from older resale buildings to more recently refurbished complexes, so there is genuine variety to explore. It is a market that suits buyers who want to be genuinely close to the sea without needing to search in more exclusive, harder-to-access pockets of the coast.
Our team knows this stretch of coastline well — not from behind a desk, but because we live and work here. We can show you the buildings and developments worth considering, talk you through the differences between resale and newer stock, and steer you clear of anything that looks better in photographs than it does in person. From your first enquiry to the moment you collect the keys, we are with you at every step.
Browse our current Punta Prima listings or get in touch with the team directly — we are always happy to have a straightforward conversation about what might suit you.
We have never had a client come back to us unhappy with a property we introduced — because we only recommend homes we would buy ourselves.
