Comaskey · Orihuela Costa
Campoamor — officially Dehesa de Campoamor — occupies a quietly distinct corner of Orihuela Costa, where pine woodland rolls down towards a marina and a string of notably clean beaches. It is greener, more spacious and more restrained than much of the Costa Blanca South, and that is precisely the point. Buyers who find their way here are rarely looking for bustle; they are looking for somewhere that feels genuinely considered.
The community is a settled mix of expatriate residents, Spanish families and repeat visitors who have been coming long enough that they have decided to stay. Life organises itself around the marina, the beaches and the surrounding woodland rather than around a commercial strip, which gives the area a character that feels organic rather than packaged. Out of season it is pleasantly quiet; in summer it fills with people who clearly know what they are doing — this is not a destination people stumble upon. The overall feel is one of a well-looked-after coastal retreat where the emphasis is firmly on quality rather than volume.
Campoamor leans towards the more generous end of the property spectrum. Detached villas with private pools and larger plots are common here — many within gated communities — and the area has built a reputation for homes that offer real privacy rather than simply the idea of it. Apartments do exist, typically in smaller, more discreet developments, and they tend to suit buyers who want a well-located base with fewer compromises on surroundings. Across both types, the standard of finish tends to reflect the expectations of a buyer who has done this before.
We work across the whole of Orihuela Costa, but Campoamor attracts a specific kind of buyer — one who has usually looked at other areas first and come back here. Our team understands what distinguishes this enclave, which properties represent genuine value within it, and how the local market actually moves rather than how it appears to move on a portal. That local knowledge makes a real difference when you are buying somewhere that does not give itself away easily.
Browse our current Campoamor listings or get in touch with the team directly — we are happy to talk through what is available and what to look for before you visit.
We have never had a client come back to us unhappy with a property we introduced — because we only recommend homes we would buy ourselves.
